I'm down $60K. And I seem to be the only one not panicking.

Would I prefer to have bought lower? Of course. But I’m genuinely not phased by what’s happening. Just like when I was up a significant amount... it means nothing to me. It’s just numbers on a screen. Until you actually lock something in, nothing’s really happened.

I work for a major crypto company, so maybe that puts me in my own little bubble, but I can say with certainty that everything internally is business as usual. Same as it was when people were losing their minds during the all-time highs.

This industry has lived through far worse. Liquidity is getting pulled from the whole system, not just crypto.

Just like every run-up, this is sentiment. Right now more people feel unsure than confident, so we're seeing that uncertainty reflected in the market. No external factor means anything until people actually react to it, and at the moment the reaction is fear. That’s all this is. When sentiment flips again, it’ll swing just as quickly the other way.

A lot of people haven’t actually lived through a real crash. It’s easy to acknowledge volatility, or look at past charts and say “everything recovered,” but feeling it as it happens is completely different. Every red candle feels personal.

I’m lucky enough to have the funds to DCA, and I see this as an opportunity. Not saying you should do the same, but if you came in with a long time horizon and weren’t here for a quick flip, nothing has changed. The fundamentals, the catalysts, and the institutional money are all still there... and will be there when the market recovers.

You can’t control the market, but you can control how you respond to it. And sometimes, when everyone else is panicking, even just doing nothing is the smartest move.

Periods like this have always been followed by stronger recoveries, and the foundation now is far stronger than in past cycles. I’m confident that will make the next rebound bigger and much more sustainable.
