Throughout October 10–11, 2025, I experienced an unfair liquidation on Binance Futures brought on by what seemed to be a system malfunction. The stop-loss and position-close features did not execute correctly, and the platform offered no well timed notification of the disruption. Consequently, my positions have been force-liquidated, leading to losses exceeding 17,000 USDT.
Binance later provided a partial compensation of 1,000 USDT, however and not using a clear rationalization of the basis trigger or how that amount was decided.
